Racing season 2008 is bringing big changes to Edge of Speedway Campground. The ast year has seen the largest expansion and investment in the campground since it opened. We listened to our guests over the past few years and incorporated many of their requests, including:

Electric hook-ups

We installed electric in 50 sites this year. These sites are located close to the main entrance in our lower section. For the enjoyment of our guests, we have also designated this area as a generator-free zone.

These sites will be reserved initially for our season pass holders. Next in priority will be pre-paid reservations. Drive-up guests will be in a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle service

Starting this year, we will run a shuttle from our front gate to the Speedway's shuttle stop the day of the race. This shuttle is free to our guests.

Shuttle service will be available, provided at least 75 percent of our electric sites are reserved prior to the race. Call for up to date information.

Our guests have always had access to Kentucky Speedway's shuttle service. In the past, guests had to walk 4/10 of a mile to access the shuttle.

Expanded roads

We extended the road in our upper section. This will make it easier for our guests to access sites in that section and give them peace of mind should we get any rain over the weekend.
